Ubisoft Talks What's Next for Assassin's Creed Valhalla

It looks like Ubisoft is planning on quite a busy few months for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla as we head towards the dog days of summer. Here’s what they have planned.

The Sigrblot Festival is currently underway and will run though August 19. In order to participate, you’ll have to meet some minimum requirements. For example, you must have reached England (obviously), and have completed one of the first two arcs in either Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire. Additionally, you need to have reached settlement level 2.

During the festival, you’ll receive 50 free Opals. Simply log on to receive them. Additionally, Ubisoft is adding one-handed swords after much community request. Several new events are added like Test Your Metal, more Orlog, and new Flytes in which to participate. Earn tokens and redeem them for rewards.

Rewards include the aforementioned one-handed sword in addition to exclusive mount, weapons, gear, tattoos, and settlement cosmetics. As for what’s next, the second big expansion, The Siege of Paris, is set to release on August 12. During this expansion, you’ll travel to Francia to follow up on some disturbing rumors. Later this summer, the River Raids game mode is receiving map pack 2.

You can check out the full details here. Recent updates to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla brought about several new skills in addition to various improvements to the Viking game. Transmog was added to the game back in March which saw you change the look of your armor for an in-game cost.
